"By the powers of StarClan, I now accept you as my Deputy, Poisonscar. May you serve well and be a wonderful leader, when I am among the ranks of StarClan." A tall multicolored cat said. "I will, and I assure you, that time has yet to come, and I will make sure with my life that it does not come soon." the newly appointed deputy spoke softly.
A fluffy brown tabby strayed into the camp, a tom by the looks of it, and a few others just behind him. He sighed and closed his bright olive green eyes. "That patrol was indeed tiring. You are free to do as you please." he said to the cats around him as he opened his wide eyes. The masculin tom grasped a small rabbit from the pile of fresh-kill and sat in an area of shadows. He dug his long, ivory fangs into the flesh of the gray rabbit and tore at it, holding it down with his claws. He swallowed the bit and smiled with warmth. "Mmm" he hummed to himself. Raising his nose, the fresh sent of kill had run through his stunningly bring red nose. He finished off the last of the rabbit and looked around at the activity in the Clan. 'Hm...' he huffed silently to himself and slowly stood up. The black stripe along his back and the different mixtures of his fur made him blend in with the deep colors of the forested camp. "Hey, Poisonscar! Could you get an apprentice to get rid of these darn ticks running through my pelt." an old voice called from behind him. Poisonscar smiled and nodded his head, "Sure thing." he said and set off from the apprentices den. Good old Poisonscar

A black she - cat with eyes of bright amber moved to the fresh kill pile, more prey clasped in her jaws. White teeth shone with red blood and so did the lovely, needle like and deadly weapons hidden in her claws. She placed the prey upon the pile, wondering why she had been asked to go in the firt place, noting there was plenty yet left. She flicked her long black tail and moved with grace and lithe agility away, a rabbit grasped in her mouth for her own consumption. Her chest had a spot of white that would remind many, if not most, of a rose. It suited her, really.
This she - cat was Rosethorn, a lovely and powerful Warrior. She was but 20 some moons now. The young shadowy she - cat was kind, but mysterious in many ways, normally keeping to herself. She loved kits, though, but had none of her own. She wasn't to keen on giving up her position as a Warrior of VoidClan, the only Clan she would ever call home. Its protection was more important to her than anything else in this world.

"Hahahaha, hey Poisonscar, congratz!" The boistrous young warrior yowled, passing by the new deputy. Though one could surely suspect, Onyxwind had no need to become deputy. He was content to be a lazy warrior, going on patrols only when ordered to, and flirting with chicks whenever there was time. "Hey, Rosethorn! What's shakin'?" He slid his way over to the warrior, only a couple moons older than himself, though he was just recently made a warrior several moons ago. He winked a glistenign green eye flirtatiously,"How's hunting, baby?" He laughed, pawing the ground.

Rosethorn looked at him through her glowing amber gaze, not responding at first, finishing the bite she had in her mouth with a crunch of bone. "Just fine," she purred, flicking her tail. "Nothing new has happened since last you talked to me, you know," she said, amusement evident. Rosethorn was somewhat mature for her 20moons, and found Onyxwind's flirtatious attitude annoying sometimes when she rather enjoy peace and quiet. She looked up at him. His glowing green eyes were quite stunning and captivating, she would admit, but she didn't like some of his mannerisms... but Onyxwind wasn't bad, not really. He was just being himself, which was perfectly fine with her. Everyone should be themselves. Rosethorn waited for him to say something. She was expecting her cold response would make him mad, but, of course, she too was, in turn, being the self she had come to be. Cold and showing little emotion and what emotion she did feel, keeping to herself. She kind of like Onyxwind, but probably not in the way he would enjoy her liking him... Oh well, that was just the way the pieces fell...

"Ho, ho! Well I suspect plenty's been happenin'! For StarClan's sake we;ve got a new deputy!" It was only natural for Onyxwind to shout or yowl everything he said. He was yet an apprentice. Grinning, he flashed Rosethorn a dazzling half-smile. "I'll catcha later, babe." He mewed, winking and turning around to find another poor she-cat to torture.

A dark she-cat slinked out of the leaders den. She was of a slimmer build not, like most Voidclan cats, but still as ferocious as one, maybe even harsher. The patches of sun that actually got through to the clan showed brightly upon the dark black and sandy pelt of the lithe cat. Her olive colored eyes winced as the light got to her eyes, she never really liked the light, even just the littlest of it. She sighed, looking at the cats surrounding her, then she pinned on Onyxwing. "Onyxwing, could you keep your loud obnoxious voice down! Your old crow of a leader needs to rest as much as she can." she said a little joke in her voice. "You can do that right?" she said questioning his abilities to preform simple tasks.

"What?" The handsome tom yowled into the old she-cat's ear, dashing in circles,"I couldn't hear what you said!" He raised his voice even more, so that his voice cracked a bit. Onyxwind laughed jubilantly at teasing the old leader and bolted to the fresh-kill pile, proding Rosethorn again. "She's as grumpy as an elder! Good ole' Poisonscar would remove her to that rank if he knew what was good for us!" He growled, jokingly, loud enough for Tearstar to hear. The tom didn't expect an answer from Rosethorn, so he whipped around to look at Tearstar, raising a brow quizically, challenging her to give a retort.

"I'm sure we would all love to be rid of me, including me as well. It would shut you up for good, for me at least. I just hope something bad does happen to me so the you'll feel so terrible for saying those things." she said in a playful tone, liking that there is some challenge in her clan at least. She spun around and was walking back to her small den, then she stopped. "Rosethorn, keep an eye on him. He's far to much trouble for just one cat, get another cat to help you if you want." she said a little smile creased on her face.

"You stupid old lady!" Laughed Onyxwind hysterically, falling to the ground and rolling around, beating the dirt with his paw. "Oh.. what a nut." He looked at Rosethorn. "She really has lost her sanity, hasn't she? Ah, well, I'd better go talk to Poisonscar. Be right back, baby." He winked at the black she-cat and padded into the apprentice's den. "Hey! Poisonscar!" He meowed loudly, dipping his head to the small number of apprentice's dwindling inside. "Will you come on a walk with me? There are certain things I think need attending to." He let his eyes wander to the leader's den. "Some cats in particular." His voice was low and quiet now. How could Tearstar seriously set guards on him?

Rosethorn sighed and sat up. She nodded respectfully to Tearstar and watched as Onyxwind ran off. He was rather annoying... but she could put up with... or, actually, she found his random outbursts and his incredibly charisma most entertaining... though she wasn't overly fond of being called baby or babe.... but she could live with it.

Poisonscar lifted his head up and had a smile across his face as he saw the wild warrior appear. He nodded to the small apprentices in front of him and they went scattering out to the old elders den. "Yes, if you'd like. Is there problems with Tearstar?" he said as he saw the cats eyes wander. He kneaded the ground with his paws and huffed, "What did she do now?" worry was plastered on his face. He knew his leader had had some weird things going on with her but didn't think much of them. He had hoped it wasn't to bad, for the sake for everyone.
